Network CRC errors when in 100MB Switch
Hi,
We currently have a problem with networking. We have a Proliant ML370 Server running NT 4.0 Server, when we connect it to the network via a 100MB Switch (Nortel Baystack 350-24T) it drops packets on a ping request and also shows lots of CRC errors when looking at the statistics window. If we patch it in to a 10MB hub it works fine. The nic is a NC3163 10/100. We have bought a new card and installed it (same model) we have tried teaming the cards but it still won't work. Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: Network CRC errors when in 100MB Switch
Check the duplex setting on the card, sounds like you are running Half-duplex not full. You will need to check at both the switch and on the card. If you have a duplex mismatch between the card and the switch you may see this type of error.
I would set both to autodetect and see what happens.
