Hi, Just curious, are current DL580's going to be upgradable to Xeon 1 gighertz, and when are 1 gighertz Xeon's going to be an option on the DL580?

There has not been any information released from Engineering about upgrades for the Server to 1 ghz processors .

Any update on this? I saw on Compaq's web site that 900 MHz processors were coming in April for the DL580 and 8500's but I see it has been removed.

the new 8*** proliants, DL750 and ML750 (I think ) are to be released August 1 in the UK. With 900Xeons presumably with proper amounts of L2 cache
