Proliant 800 6/200 & Windows 2000 installation problem
Hi,
i have a problem when installing windows 2000 (professional or server).
When i can selec a partition, create or delete,
there is this information:
0MB DISK 0 at Id 0 on bus 0 on symc8xx
When i press enter the next screen is a blue screen:
*** STOP: 0x0000001E (0x00000005, 0xBFFC0BC, 0x00000000, 0x639CB608)
KMODE_EXCEPITION_NOT_HANDLED
*** Address BFFC08BC base at BFFA2000, DateStamp 38441c2a Setupdd.sys
If this first time ....etc etc...
I have dowloaded a driver cp003193 and create diskette.
I have loaded a driver in windows 2000 during the installation (F6) ...but i have the same problem..
Before windows 2000 had windows Nt server and it work fine..
Alberto.
(sorry for my bud english)

What kind of storage controller do you?
Integrated Dual Channel Wide-Ultra SCSI-3?
If it is your controller, the driver required is cp005749 (http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=254919&prodNameId=257763&swEnvOID=181&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=MTX-UNITY-I23429)
