ProLiant BL460c G7

Hi Everyone, i am using a ProLiant BL460c G7 server keeps on freezing and getting below error message Fatal PCI Express Device Error PCI Slot? B00/D07/Foo 05_ and on the IML Log the error i am getting PCI bus Uncorrectable PCI Express Errr(Embeded device,Bus 0,Device 7, Function 0, Error status 0x00000020) please assist.

Hi,

If you have installed any new hardware like, Mezzanine card or controller card, please remove them and try to boot the server.

Because ahs is not available  for GEN7 , finding out which is device 07, bus 00  is  difficult.

You need then running Advanced Survey (via Insight Diagnostics) OR maybe you can get this information via the OS which is installed on the blade

For BL460GEN6 there was a Advisory:  HP E5500 32TB MDL SAS LFF Messaging System - ProLiant BL460c G6 Server Installed with NC382m May Unexpectedly Reboot and Log the IML Entry Error: "Uncorrectable PCI Express Error (Embedded device, Bus 0, Device 7, Function 0, Error status 0x00000000)"
