Proliant DL360 G9 - SSA (v 2.40.13) not recognizing the Smart Array Card P840

Hi All,

We are trying to configure some RAID logical volumes through Smart Storage Administrator that is accessed from Intelligent Provision (F10) after servers POST.

When accessing the SSA GUI, we faced the following error :

Fatal Error

275 Smart Array P840 in Slot 1 cannot be configured. The controller contains a logical drive that was created with a newer version of the Array Configuration
tools. Please obtain the latest version of the Array Configuration tools to configure this controller.

• SSAGUI version is : 2.40.13
• Smart Array Card P840 firmware version is : 7.00

One last thing, is that on the main menu of the SSAGUI, numerous Smart Array cards are listed and the P840 is not, which may be due to compatibility issue ?

Any advice or recommendation on how to make SSAGUI working with our P840 card would be much appreciated.

Thanks a lot for your feedback. 

The actual version of our IP is 2.40.79, in case of a rollback is needed to revert to that version, where can we find that specific version (the 2.40.79 version) ? In the link that you provided, we only found v 2.40.79 and v 2.40.79(B).

Another question, is there any compatibility matrix between SSACLI and SSAGUI that can be found ? Our SSACLI is Linux based v 5.10.44, and we wish to know which IP version should be upgraded to in order for the SSA utilities (CLI and GUI) to be aligned.
