Hi!
I found on my iLO the following alert:
- Fan Redundancy: Not Redundant
- Fans: Degraded
Fan 3 is Degraded but speed is currently 100% and all the temperatures are ok.
The Integrated Management Log says:
- Fan Failure (Fan 3, Location System)
- System Fans Not Redundant (Location System)
Is it an error in the iLO or I have to really check the fan?
Thank's,
Francesco

SolutionHi,
Yes you need to check the fan for failure.
Refer to page# 39 from this guide.
Here is an old advisory if it helps.
Thank You!

Re: ProLiant DL360e Gen8 - Fan 3 Degraded
I've just rebooted the server and the amber light turns green.
In the iLO, from the overview, System Health is now ok but Fan Redundancy is still Not Redundant and Fans is still Degraded.
Fans speed are all under 30% now.
Following the advisory I'm going to open the server and re-seat or change the fan.

Re: ProLiant DL360e Gen8 - Fan 3 Degraded
I opened the server and I noticed the fan #3 was off so I changed it and now it's all ok.
