Raid controller (P420i) fails to initiate. DL380p Gen8

Hey everyone, I have failed to understand what the problem with my server is.
I have the error when plugging drives into bays 5-8, but the controller boots fine without any drives in bay 5-8.
I thought it may be the cable, but I replaced the cable and it hasn't changed anything. Still having this problem.
When switching the cables, bay 5-8 work and 1-4 don't.
Therefor I'm thinking it's not backplane, but rather cables. To make sure it wasn't the cable, I also used the cable from one of my old G7's, but that didn't work either. Switching out the cables again did nothing. I am using 4 authentic HP drives

in bays 5-8.

I am completely clueless and out of options on what to try. Any help would be appreciated.
Also getting this ILO error, but I don't think it's related.

This does not help me at all, since I have troubleshooted what is needed.
I won’t jump to the conclusion of getting a new motherboard instantly.
Some other help that anyone may be able to provide?

I've updated it successfully, restarted the server and also unplugged the power. The issue still persists.

The error below is just my array rebuilding. The FW is successfully flashed. Although I do see that it shows Box 2 but not box 1, rather box 0. Could it be the backplane?

Thank you for the Post.

We see that you have already tried few steps and we appreciate that.

It looks like either the Port on the Controller or the Cable looks problematic here.

But we see that you have tried swapping the cables and used different Cables as well - so that leaves us with the Port on the Controller.

If you could try swapping the Ports on the Controller and also use good known working Cables we can isolate and may need to replace the Part accordingly.

If the issue seems to be with the Port, then the System Board needs to be replaced as this is Integrated to the Board.

I do rather think it is the backplane. So I’ll be replacing that then. Thank you for your help though.
