SCSI and Raid option

I have installed an ML370 with the Raid chip option. Unfortionally it has taken over both SCSI channels which means that I can not install an SCSI tape device on either of this channels (According to COMPAQ TS). I have tried to install a new ADAPTEC 29160N as a extra SCSI device. I can see this devise in the Compaq configuration manager (DO) and on boot, but are not able to find or install it in the NT system. Can anybody help me installing the tape device (HP SS DAT40i) on eigher the existing SCSI channels og the ADAPTEC??

Have you gotten Adaptec's latest NT drivers? What about HP's drivers for the tape? Neither would be provided by Compaq as these are not Compaq products.
