small business 2003 on proliant G3

Is there any way to setup small business 2003 on a proliant G3 without reconfiguring-formating the array first? The smartstart disk dont leave other choices and windows don't recognise the smart array,i can't find drivers for the array (HP smart array). It is a raid 5 with 2 partitions the windows(crushed) were on the first partition.Don't want to lose data on the second partition

Which controller are you using?
You can boot off the OS cd and hit F6 during the OS CD boot process to specify the controller driver. Here is the link for Windows 2003 controller drivers:

There’s your problem!!! This thing is set to EVIL!

Also make sure that the 642 is the boot controller

Re: small business 2003 on proliant G3

I had tryed this driver(every driver there was availiable even in the smart start cd rom.nothing! Finally i used a second HD outside the array, back up,and start with the smartstart. But i think its not a very good solution if it hapens again. The problem in windows was something about the network services.
Thanks again for your time
