snmp community name of DL320 G5 running cisco cucm 6.1
hi
i am running a cisco cucm 6.1 on 2x hp dl320 G5
i have a rilo card installed on this server
i have configured a monitoring application to pull the ambient temperature from the rilo card by checking the snmp oid 10.3.6.1.4.1 instance 232.6.2.6.8
this works fine for all my other servers as i know the exact snmp community name
but i do not know what the snmp community name is for this DL320 G5 so it does not work
i have tried the default public but this does not work,
would anyone know how you can figure out what hte snmp read community name is on a dl320 g5 if you are running cisco cucm 6.1 (which is basically linux based)
many thanks
rogier

Look in the snmpd.conf file.

thanks, i tried looking into the file but i don't think i have the correct permissions for this box (integrator did the installation for me on this box) and i am not linux savy enough to cd my way to the correct path and read the snmpd.conf file
