The driver detected a controller error on \Device\SCSIPort5

Hi,

I encountered the error on my NT box. Event ID 11: The driver detected a controller error on \Device\SCSIPort5.
The SCSIPort5 is connected to my HP C5683A and it is working fine.
Anybody got any idea to resolve the error?
I looked thru the compaq website, there is a driver CP000744.exe which can be obtained from this website
http://www.compaq.com/support/files/server/us/download/10070.html.

2 things you can try.
1) update to the latesat driver.
2) go into the F10 partition and find the scsi port under which the HP resides. There you will see SCSI BUS SPEED. Drop this down to SCSI2 compliant.
