Windows 2000 Pro
Does anyone know if there is an issue with the installation of Win2000 Pro (not server or advanced, just w/s) onto the Proliant DL360? I am trying to setup a server for a customer, but the software that she wants to run as a communications package will not run under Server. Everytime I get started, when the blue screen comes up and says "loading windows 2000", the server freezes up. I have tried hitting F6 and giving it the compaq smart array controller driver, but it keeps doing the same thing. ???HELP???

Re: Windows 2000 Pro
I did find a solution that seems to work. It appears that for some reason, the Original win200 pro install did not use the array controller when I inserted the disk. I started by installing Win2000 server. Then I rebooted on the Win2000 Pro cd, and overwrote the server install completely. The drivers stayed put, and my box is now running pro. I am going to beat on it for a week and see if it breaks, but it looks good.
