Write Back Cache Enabler for Proliant DL360 G3

We purchased a write back cache enabler but the instructions do not match the layout of the DL360 G3, can someone give me directions on how to install this? HP/Compaq assure me that we purchased the correct part but I can't seem to figure out how to install it.

My WBCE came with instructions for a DL360, but I have a DL380. Where are the install instructions for the DL380??

For the DL 380 G3 you use the same BBWC enabler. Do not use the extra parts that come with it. When you open the top off the server look in the very front right corner of the server and you should see a piece of plastic that will lift right out (it is between the edge of the chassis and right next to the cdrom I believe). Place your new BBWC in it and hook the cable that is lying right next to it to the cache you just installed in the plastic piece. That should be it.

Thanks - but this link is to a DL360 installation guide, not a DL380. The DL380 comes with it's own plastic blank pre-installed. It is located just behing the power switches near the front of the case. I loaded the controller into this plastic case & dropped it back in, plugged it in & away I went. Is there any post-installation setup ie) array/SCSI controller setting that have to be adjusted?

The Hardware installation instructions of the DL 380 G3 that came printed (and on cd) with the server cover the WBCE install in the very last page. (no post install things needed, the cable for connecting the unit is in the server as well allready, take out the fans to get a hold of it.)
