Disabling one NIC from being monitored.

Hello,
Is there any way I can disbale one of two NICs on my Proliant DL320 servers from being monitored by IM7 Sp2? This paricular NIC is not in use but it generates unwanmed alerts. Thank you.

On the server itself, right click the NIC in Network Connections and choose disable. Insight will no longer monitor it.

Re: Disabling one NIC from being monitored.

Is there a way to disable monitoring of a NIC at the agent level? I have a NIC I need to use so it can't disabled at the OS level.

Re: Disabling one NIC from being monitored.

In Windows environments, go to Settings - Control Panel - HP Management Agents. On the Services page, move "NIC information" to the Inactive Agents section.
