IP address range, wildcards

I have two questions and haven't been able to find anything in the CIM documentation or through the forums' search engine:

1. Is there a way to use wildcards in IP ranges?

2. If I have an IP inclusion range 10.1.1.55-10.1.2.254, will CIM include 10.1.2.1-54?
