Problem with database configuration during IM7 SP2 installation

Hi,

I'm trying to upgrade to IM7 SP2. However, I keep getting the following error when trying to validate the database configuration information: "Unable to determine size of data from old database. Login failed for user 'sa'". I'm using MSDE 1.0 with SP4. Has anyone experienced this problem?

Phong - The exact same thing happened to me when I tried the same upgrade, except I'm using SQL8(SP3) instead of MSDE. Did you ever find a solution to the problem?

Hi Susan,
No, I was unable to find a solution. However, I had moved my IM7 databases to SQL2000 (SP3) but had not tried to upgrade to IM7 SP2 yet. At this time, I'm quite satisfied with IM7 SP1.2 that I'm in no hurry to try the upgrade again. Thanks, Phong.
