Server Unreachable
I've installed ActiveUpdate from the 5.3 CD (and CIM7 SP1)
I've configured the Options/Advanced/Global/Connection & proxy as it should, but get the error "Server Unreachable".
When I try to do http://web11.compaq.com/activeupdate it fails, but http://web11.compaq.com:80/activeupdate is OK.
I've the impression that ActiveUpdate uses port 81.
Any comment ?

Re: Server Unreachable
This info of any use?
Hello,
Is the following site down/offline: http://web11.compaq.com/activeupdate
When I click on subscribe, I see a list like this:
Desktops
Handhelds
Management....etc
etc
I can expand these to get to different models of servers or version control, but when I click on a link beneath, it looks like files are being downloaded, but I do not see them on the righthand side of the screen.
Thank you for your inquiry. At this time the ActiveUpdate system is not working. Our ActiveUpdate server team has verified that there is a problem with the login server that makes the server unable to determine your login permissions after your login is accepted by ActiveUp
date, so no information or content is being sent to your ActiveUpdate client. Our server team is working diligently to resolve the login problem and hopes to have the ActiveUpdate system working correctly in the near future.
Regards,
Robert

Re: Server Unreachable
We're the 13th of august and I've still the same message.
Is there still a problem with ActiveUpdate system ???
With IE6 I can't see any error.
With Netscape 6, in the main frame, got this message :
WebLogic Error 500--Internal Server Error
Regards
