Unable to add device in CIM7

Hi there! I'm looking to add a device up to CIM7. I've already added about 260 so far but none in the last few months. When I add the device from Settings, Add Device, it seems to ignore the information I'm adding and returs me to the Add Device screen. Is there someway I can see what is going on in the background? Are there any logs I can look at? CIM7 seems to functioning correctly other than that. I've also checked the SQL DB and it's not complaining of anything.

I seem to have the same problem. CIM7 just ignores the device i try to add without a error.

Are you adding by name or IP address? CIM7 should resolve it first.
If you have Trap Autodiscovery enabled, try to send a test trap from a new device.
At least there should be an event associated with this trap.

I got the problem sorted in the end. It turned out that colleagues were installing software on this server as if it was a test server. Once we removed all that software the CIM worked as normal.
