The DL20 Gen11 is delivered with ILO Std, that can be used with the standard NIC-ports. Will the ILO Adv require the optional ILO-port or can it be used with the standard NIC-ports?
In OCA the BD505A is added per default but the optional ILO-port isn't. (It's hidden under the M.2 menu).

SolutionHello,
The HPE ProLiant DL20 Gen11 server's QuickSpecs does not specify the need for using an optional iLO-port for the iLO Advanced License.
Regards,

Re: ILO-port on DL20 Gen11
From what I've been able to ascertain all ILO features but Remote can be used with the onboard NIC. The Remote feature however requires the optional ILO-port.

Re: ILO-port on DL20 Gen11
iLO advanced is a License which can be used with iLO shared port.
However, if you want dedicated and isolated iLO access, you can opt for an additional iLO port.
Meanwhile, you can configure NIC port 1 as shared iLO port.
