administrator account on sim 4.1

Hello I recently installed HP sim 4.1 on a new server. The product after some initial issues seems to be working fine but I wanted to start managming systems. When I went to deploy to a server, I got a "untrusted" message with a configure button. When I went to configure I got a screen with 3 drop down choices for creating this trust: administrator, operator, user. My problem is that I don
't recall creating these accounts and don't know the password to get into these acounts. IF I need to reinstall Then I'll do that I just need to be sure that is what I need to do.

Second We are building this box in one location for delopyment at another subnet will I neeed to reinstall this box as a result of that?

The 'untrusted' problem is because you have no trust set between the CMS (SIM management server) and the agent on the server you're trying to access. I find that certificate-based trust works best for me, but I know some of the people here use 'trust by name'.

Did you install all the agent software on the managed servers yourself? If so, you'll have set the passwords then. If you inherited them from someone else, they will have set them - so the best thing is to ask!

I may be wrong here (never tried it) but I think you can reset the password from the CMS by opening the target server's homepage and choosing 'settings' then 'change passord' under the http server heading.

As for the second question, It shouldn't matter on a different subnet. SIM uses DNS/DDNS, so as long as the servers you need to manage are visible, there shouldn't be a problem.
