Can not login after Install of HP Insight Mgr 7

Hi All,

 

I'm evaluating Insight Manager.. in particular the migration tool. I have installed 7.0 on Win 2008 R2 (running in vmware). I don't have a windows domain.

 

The insight services are running under user account '.\administrator'.

 

I can not login to HP Insight Control however (using the administrator acct). I get 'Sign-in failure' as the error. For the 'Domain' value I have tried 'workgroup', the hostname/computername & blank when logging in.

*slaps head* my computername is 16 chars long which is a problem for old win clients (max used to be 15 chars). Insight Mgr wants the 15 char truncated computername version in domain.
