When I view the IML on a Win2k3, DL380 server I see 2 "notes" indicating that I cannot clear the IML. One states that it's possible that I'm not logged on as Administrator (I am) and the other indicates that SNMP sets may not be enabled. Looking at the properties for the SNMP service under security the rights are set for READ WRITE.
Is there somewhere else I should be looking for SNMP sets to be enabled?
TIA
Terry

Solution
Under SNMP Configuration - if you go to the "Management Agents" link - you will see a page with an option that says "SNMP Sets" and gives yo uthe option to Disable\Enable - it is possible that ths is set to Disable.

Re: can't clear IML - message about enabling SNMP sets
I am also having the same problem. I checked the same things as well as the enable sets in the insight agents applet in the control panel, it was off previously so i turned it on. However I am still unable to markc entries in the log. I even ran a repair on the agents from the HPSIM. I have only found this happening on one server and I have been able to clear entries on other servers.
