Can you use an existing wildcard SSL cert with HP SIM?

The subject pretty much says it all. We have our own wildcard certificate that I want to import into HP SIM, however I don't see any way to do this in the GUI. The GUI wants to force you to generate a cert request, send it off to Verisign, etc. etc.

We already have a cert that is working quite well for us on other systems.

1. Can we import it?
2. Will the fact that it is a wildcard cert cause problems?

HP SIM requires a unique certificate. Remember that this is not just for the browser, but it is used for identification and security for various HP SIM tasks. Wildcard certificates are considered a compromise to this security.
