Cluster Monitor Status Change event messages
These are examples of the messages from each cluster:
"MSCS resource: at Wed, 12-May-2004, 11:09 AM EDT device status on cluster serverclu01 became critical"
"CPU resource: at Wed, 12-May-2004, 11:09 AM EDT device status on node server01 of cluster serverclu01 became critical"
"Disk resource: at Wed, 12-May-2004, 11:09 AM EDT device status on node server02 of cluster serverclu01 became critical"
These are all 2k & 2K3 MS clusters with the latest HP Support Pack installed. The events are exacly the same for every cluster & are generated at random times from 30 min. to several hours.
These are the only errors being reported by Insight Manager. There are no events logged in Event Viewer & the cluster logs aren't showing any problems. Has anyone else come across this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Cluster Monitor Status Change event messages
From what i see here, it is an issue of SIM for more than 7 years and still no response or a solution.

Re: Cluster Monitor Status Change event messages
Hi all,
In a HPSIM training, we have reported a bug that has long been repeated in different SIM versions.
I am using version 6.3 and I have a 2008 HA cluster
System Resource: device status on node XXXXXXXX of cluster XXXXXXXX became critical.
CPU Resource: device status on node XXXXXXXX of cluster XXXXXXXX became critical.
DISK Resource: device status on node XXXXXXXX of cluster XXXXXXXX became critical
Our teacher told us that we eliminated all cluster traps.. going to ...
Control Pannel -> HP Management Agents -> Services tab ->
Active Agents -> Agents that report via WBEM or SNMP
Inactive Agents -> Agents will no report via WBEM or SNMP
Put Clustering Information in Inactive agent and restart the SNMP or WBEM services (and dependencies)..
