Filtering Events
Is there a way to filter specific events?
Looking at the Event Filter option on SIM 5.2.2, it seems to be limited severity; for example, Critical, Major, etc. What I am looking for is much more granular such as filtering at the object level. For instance, I want to filter by Down drive, High CPU, or Down Fans and more. Eventually I would like to create an "Automatic Event Handling - Manage Tasks" to alert me for each specific objects and not just severity level.
Would this possible? Note, I only have the base SIM installation and free plug-in that comes with softpaq.

Re: Filtering Events
As you say, the event filter is limited. But you can create an event handling task based on any group or individual events you want.
You probably don't want HPSIM to discard events, you just want to limit what you get notified about.
But setting up and maintaining a large number of individual event handling tasks would be quite labour intensive.
