HP SIM 5.3 Automatic Event Handling Emails (ignoring filters)
Afternoon,
We are running HP SIM 5.3 in our Windows environment, due to some recent events I’ve been asked to setup email alerts to a distribution list for out of hours support (great :-( )
However the problem we are getting is that some events I don't want emailed are sent out. We use the event handling to clear events which although problematic are not important on selected servers e.g. test boxes. The issue I’m getting is that despite me asking the handling to send ONLY events where “cleared state is not Cleared” the first thing I see every morning is 3-4 emails where the Cleared Status is “Cleared”. Any ideas? It’s driving me mad.
Many thanks
Dan
