HP SIM 6 / VCA

Hi - I have a few Windows server that seem to be unable to connect back to the VC Repository. Here's the error message from the VCA client log:

Check it's connecting to the correct VCA? Are the credentials correct?
Try logging onto the VCA directly and re-adding credentials etc.
Check DNS?

Hi - the answer was relatively simple. Once I updated the VCA's on the servers affected, they connected without any issues. I presume the VCRM I'm using (6.2.0.860) must be particular about which versions of the VCA can connect to it.

That's not normally the case, the VCRM must be able to support older VCA's otherwise it wouldn't be much use.
But, at least it's going.

Same problem here.

Had to setup another VCRM on a old server. Configure and replicate agent settings to point to this VCRM. Install VCA version 6.2.0.860. Then configure and replicate agent settings to point to the VCRM on SIM server.
