hi
i am running hp sim 4.2 on a w2k3 sp1 server
i have 5 servers with MP and all are being detected and associated to a server, i recently installed a new server with w2k3 sp1 and have updated psp to version 7.4 and updated the rilo firmwrae to the latest version but i cannot get hp sim to associated the MP with the server. I checked all the settings and compared them to the MP which are being associated with servers but cannot find anything not configured correctly, have enabled snmp pass thru.
could it have to do with the fact i am running w2k3 sp1 on that particular server?
or is there something else i could check?
many thanks
rogier

Re: HP SIM and MP - no management processor discovered in server
Just to add to my prevous post...
Do the mentioned above mentioned changes and then run the identification task for SIM to associate the MP to the server.
