Installation error during Initial Installation of HP SIM on an Windows 2003 Server

hi,


i receive an error message during the Installation of the software. It tells me that the software has an "error creating certificates".

can somebody help me out of this mess. the user got fully locally administrator rights. OS is installed with default settings, no special security settings or other policies. server is not in an domain.

Hi Stephane,

First thing, even though my installation was quite smooth, in your case I would make sure that the new security levels of Internet Explorer, wich are at the other extreme, when compared to the previous default settings, are reduced (eventually, since your are in a LAN, drop them to nothing and see what happens...) and that your IIS is not sending events about security issues.

tried it and disabled all security settings in IE but it doesn't help either. somebody any other suggestions.

I just resolve that problem.
Keyboard+regional settings must be english language on 2003 server

I'am get this message also until I set IP address and connect patchcord to Netork card.
After when I do it I can to continue the installation.
