Is it possible to save personalized filters

We have a SIM installation and have to re-install it due to problems with the account we used for installation (password policies). All procedures for resetting the used account to another one not work because the Open SSH service immediately terminates after starting and we decided to re-install SIM. Since we spent much time for creating the customized filters we look for a solution to save them and reuse them afterwards again.
Any clues ?
