Major Event Status not shown in Important Events

Hi All,

I´m setting up email notification for events. When a server gets a major or minor status i can only see the symbol in the health status. But there comes no information in the Events. If the server gets critical like no ping then it´s shown in the Events and i get a mail. But not when i have major or minor. What i have to do ?

1. Check that the SNMP service is pointing at the insight server (traps).

2. What caused the downgrade on the machine?

I have the exact same issue with HP SIM 5.2

Have not been able to find a resolution. Been working on it for weeks.

The fact that is shows as an event in HP SIM suggests that an SNMP trap has been received, but no email generated. I am beginning to think it is a bug with this software
