Missed scheduled tasks run after CMS boot... How can I prevent this?
Hi,
I have a few scheduled tasks in HP SIM 4.2. This weekend the connection between the HP SIM server (the CMS server) and the database was lost (because of a locked out account, but that is solved now). Today I restarted the HP SIM service and the connection was okay again.
The problem is that there were a few scheduled tasks in the period the connection between HP SIM and the database was lost. When starting the HP SIM service, those scheduled tasks began to run, about 40 hours after their "normal" start time. How can I prevent such tasks to run when they have been missed? Those tasks install updates and reboot servers after installation, so this may NOT happen at most times...
The tasks have a fixed day and hour to run and it is not selected that they should run when the CMS server boots...
I hope someone can help me... Thanks!!
Pedro
