move db to another server
help,
my dba (nice guy with strange idea's) want to move my HP SIM db to another server.
The db was created on a 'development' server and now he want to move it to a shared production environment. I know that in the good-old cim 7 it was possible to change the db parameters (server, user-account). But I don't find this in HP SIM 4.2 . Were can I modify the db parameters ?

Re: move db to another server
Nice document, thank you,
it has different migration scenarios, but mine isn't mentioned.
I have a CMS (w2k3) with a remote mssql db.
The CMS server should stay the same, but the remote db should be migrated to another system.
Should it be ok if I'm doing the following:
1. stop services
2. let dba migrate the db (with his proper tools)
3. adapt server field in start -> settings-control panel -> administrative tools -> data sources -> system DSN
