New install questions
Hi,
We have just installed our first SIM Server to manage around 50 remote client servers, so far we have added 6 servers to the console and we have some basic questions prior to going further.
1 Is there any kind of remote control software that can be installed, we currently use either PCanywhere or VNC, do hp have something of its own to use?
2 Our clients servers are all remote servers, so we have had to add our public ip address range to their firewall so we can access the servers, what are the exact ports required to open on the clients firewalls, we tried SNMP and SSH, this worked however it did not work when we tried to access the Systems Home Page?
3 I noticed that by default the isntall option for remote so
4 Some our our client servers are either not HP or some are ML 100 Series servers, is their any way of managing these servers, if so what exactly would we need to install on these, and how ?
Thats is for now.
Thanks for all the help.
Roger
