When I reboot the CMS, I receive no email from HPSIM. Is there any way to keep track of the CMS?
Thanks!

Or was this question posted before, so nobody answers?

SolutionIf the CMS goes down, whether that is the application itself or the entire system, whether intentionally or by some catastrophic event, there is no guarantee it will ever come alive again. The only way to be sure would be to configure another system to monitor the first.

Re: No alert/log when CMS of HPSIM is turned off.
You may want to restrict how many Devices it monitors though.
You could also use the second installation as the test platform for new HPSIM Patches etc.
