No support packs in this repository...

Not sure I'm doing this right...

I am trying to setup the PSP 7.90 on my CMS. I am doing the following:

1. Copying the psp.exe file to c:\repository and extracting the contents to that directory.
2. From SIM, I am selecting my CMS server and going to the Tools and Links tab and selecting the VCRM link on the left hand side.
3. On the VCRM page, I click on Upload a Support Pack and select my c:\repository\psp_7_90 directory and begin uploading.
4. When the uploading is finished, I went to the Catalog tab and selected Rescan the Repository.
5. On the SIM homepage, I select Deploy -> Deploy Drivers, Agents, etc. -> Initial Support Pack Install, and select my CMS server.
6. I enter my Windows credentials, then on the next page it says, "There are no Support Packs in this repository.".

What am I missing here? How long does rescanning the catalog take? Is there a delay here I just need to wait for?

Hello, you must configure a VCA to trigger the VCRN a first time.
Or look in the VCRM Log

Re: No support packs in this repository...

Hi, I had the same thing on a fresh install os HP SIM, while trying to deploy PSP 7.70.
After a VCR service restart, same thing. I rebooted the CMS server, and it worked :-)

Cheers,
David.
