I am using an HP ProLiant ML 330 G3 as my Central Management server and would like to monitor some 30-35 other various ProLiant model servers. I'm a little confused as to how the PMP licensing works. I understand that there are 5 free PMP licenses that come with HP Systems Insight Mangager, but what about any additional licenses? Is there any cost associated with these? If I'm using only one Central Management Server then I get only those 5 free licenses correct?
Since all the client machines that will be using the Performance Mangement Pack are HP ProLiant servers, does that mean PMP licensing for them are free? Or is it simply, 5 free PMP licenses per Central Management server and any additional need to be purchased?
Any clarification would be appreciated. My reseller didn't really help me on this.
Thanks.
