RIB/RILOE not showing as "in Server"

Some of my RIB/RILOE/iLOs are linking themselves to their servers, and some arent.

Does anyone have a checklist of some sort to figure out why some arent auto linking properly?

I dont suppose there is a manual way of linking the two either, is there?

I am experiencing the same problem. I have reinstalled all agents and upgraded all RIB/RILOE. Any one have any other suggestions?

Make sure that the "SNMP/Insight Manager" setting is set to 'high.' hpSIM/IM7 uses this to make the association. One of the elements of the response is the server serial number which is matched to the GUID/Index of the server in the database. If the two don't match, no association.

A common occurence is having a MB replacement and not programming a serial number in the new board.

Where is that setting? Is it on the servers that are being monitored or the SIM server.

It's under the 'Administration' tab in the iLO UI.

...for the iLo thats true. What about the RILOEs? Do the they also have a comparable setting?
