Sim 4.2 SP2: automatic event handling tasks don't run

Latest SIM version and Service Pack. I configured hardware status polling tasks. 'events' are being generated normally. Events are also being generated when I send a Test SNMP trap. However, I defined an automatic event handling task to send an email whenever a critical, major and minor event occurs. The task simply does not run, allthough major and critical events occurred. Why is this? It used to work but since the latest versions (I think starting from 4.1) it no longer works.
Please advise. I'm currently not being warned when something happens with the servers and that's annoying.

has the same problem, SIM 4.2 SP2 was installed a new on W2K3 server DL580 G2

Event are indicated in the ISM and in the status window, but dont send E-mail to my Mailbox
configured is:
1. serverity is any
2. event category is system Insight manager event is any
etc.
The problem is in hardware status (HW) is the errors indicated, but in the server event no entry exists, is absent(lacking) as well the entry under all events

no i will check of new Hotfix, SP3 etc: on HP
if you solved the Problem, a feedback was verry nice.

Hello,
i found the problem
you must configure the Traps in SNMP-Servive

add your ISM-Servername or IP,thats all.
now i get much E-Mails from Servers
