Attempt to create a new task fails on last stage(pressing finish)with reason "Unable to save task." As for the rest - All seems to work correct... Just that task problem. but it used to work! And the last task-run date is 30/5/2006... ;( If there's no way to solve without reinstall, then please teach how to save all configuration of SIM(5.0 SP5) and then integrate that config to brand new server...

Re: SIM have stopped to run tasks
Could this be because your database is full and that automatic growth has been turned off?

Re: SIM have stopped to run tasks
No, Checkbox "Automatically grow file" is set. Datafile is 1700Mb, free disk space is available...

Re: SIM have stopped to run tasks
In HPUX we can run this command to check it:
/opt/mx/lbin/mxconfigrepo -c
I don't know the path of mxconfigrepo in windows environment, but I'm quite sure it was included in the PATH during sim installation.
So you can try to run this command from a dos shell:
mxconfigrepo -c

Re: SIM have stopped to run tasks
To to make this clearer, it seems you have two problems?
One is that you cannot save a new task.
Another is that an existing task has not run since 30/50/2006?
On the latter if a task has not run it would just indicate that the combination of events used to trigger the task have not been met.
As for the Unable to save, have you tried using the account HPSIM was installed with to create the task? Just wondering if it's a permissions thing somewhere.

Re: SIM have stopped to run tasks
The Guy installed SIM says there were some issues SIM had to notify about via existing task, but it did not(supposedly). As for permissions - i didn't check that yet indeed! So thank you for the answer!

Re: SIM have stopped to run tasks
And! I've found HP Insight Event Notifier service is stopped. And it could not be started. with service-specific error 1. :)
All the people say me to reinstall SIM and set it up anew :)
