SIM5.3 SSO with domain trust

Hi,
Could this scenario work?

Domain A
- SIM server
- SIM service account

DOMAIN trust between

DOMAIN B
- user account

Can we use DOMAIN B user accounts to SSO SIM ?

and the domain trust is only from domain A to B eg. Domain A trusts domain B accounts

It works if you establish a forest trust (domains were in different forests).
