SMH don't works with FQDN
Hello,
I have the problem, that a server acts curious. The SMH can start with:
The SMH cannot start with:
- completly remote
The server has W2k3 and is installed as a terminal server. A ping and nslookup works normal.
Have anyone an idea, what the problem is?
Thank you very much and best regards
M. Longardt

Re: SMH don't works with FQDN
The SMH listens for HTTP on port 2301 and HTTPS on port 2381. So the protocol in URLs pointed at port 2301 needs to be HTTP, not HTTPS or you will get an error.
When you say the SMH cannot start with those URLs - are you browsing locally or remotely? And what error is the browser reporting?
It sounds like the browser is having trouble resolving the FQDN.

Re: SMH don't works with FQDN
Hello,
you are right, https and port 2301 is wrong. The problem is that the SMH doesn't start with the FQDN local and completly remote. The error is, that the page cannot shown.
Best regards
M. Longardt
