System Name displays IP, not name

Hi,

Some of my servers show their IP address as the system name, even though they have a valid entry in DNS. The system name also shows up correctly on the system management homepage too. How can I get the system name to show up on Insight Manager?

hi,
from Settings-tab -> Discovery -> Manual discovery -> edit device
fill in the IPadres, and press [get device parameters]. in the DEVICENAME field there will be the ipadres again. Fill here the systems name. Press [APPLY to Device]

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I don't have that option because I am using SIM 4.1, which I forgot to mention. This is the solution I found:
