Tape Library Door Open Generates Critical Alert!

This is really annoying... whenever we open the Compaq tape library, SIM generates a critical event. I would like to somehow prevent this event from being sent. Any advice?

Running SIM 4.2SP2.

Hi,

One possible solution: On SIM server go to "Options->Events->SNMP Trap Settings...", then choose cpqscsi.mib in MIB Name and cpqTape3LibraryDoorOpen in Trap Name and choose NO on Enable Trap Handling (or change the severety of the event to what you want).
