Unable to complete Data Collection Event originator
HI there. Not sure why we are getting the following message when we see that both connections for the device show a normal health state and both cards are pingable:
Message:
Unable to complete Data Collection Event originator....The Data Collection task could not complete due to a timeout or the task was stopped by the user. A timeout indicates problems with the instrumentation (SNMP/WBEM/DMI) on the target machine
Checked the settings and all appear to be proper. any insight?

Re: Unable to complete Data Collection Event originator
Are you using wbem globally?
i.e. if you have wbem enabled and credentials entered under Options -> protocol settings -> global protocol settings then you are.
I've had issues with globally enabled wbem and now for those servers with HP agents ensure wbem is not used. One of the main areas affected is always data collection.
I need wbem for other items, so I enable wbem globally but leave the credentials blank and then just use the server specific wbem settings where required.
