Hi,
I just upgraded Insight Manager from v 6.1 to 6.3.
The upgrade process went smoothly until the end.
Now when I try to open the web page "localhost:50000" or "ipadress:50000", I got the message from IE 7 that says : "Unable to open web site"
SIM is running on a W2K3 R2 serveur with an Oracle 10g database.
Insight Manager and OracleHPSIM services are running and no error in windows log files...
Any hint welcome....

Try the following:
- Make sure any IE proxy is disabled
- Open https://localhost:50000
- Make sure there are no host entries causing issues
Make sure the DB is functional by running this command(s)
- mxstatus -v
- mxnode
Post back results.

I got it back to work with help of my DB admin.
Did a backup of the Oracle DB, then uninstalled SIM, cleared the DB, reinstalled SIM. Got it back alive, then imported backup data.
Now it works fine... Almost... All default collections are empty (but there were already in v6.1)... This will be another post.
