WBEM on Windows managed servers, what does this give or is it needed when you have SNMP/Ping setup on the global protocols?

Can it use any domain account that you give, or is there a more specific requirement?

ProLiant servers with Insight agents have no benefit from WBEM/WMI.

WBEM is useful if your environment includes HP-UX systems (who use WBEM services in lieu of Insight-style agents, although agents are avaiable for Integrity servers running Windows or Linux), clients, 3rd party servers or virtual machines.
