DAS connectivity for ProLiant and StoreEasy

Dear Community,

Can HPE ProLiant be connected directly to HPE StoreEasy as a Direct attached Storage without the network.

Hi @otyheno1 ,
I believe, StoreEasy can't be used as Direct SAS/SATA connectivity type. It requires FC/Ethernet.
You can use disk enclosures such as HPE D6000.

Hi,

There is no option to use Storeeasy as a DAS without using network and options like file share or iscsi disk.

You may consider direct attach disk enclosures to connect to proliant server.

This would require a SAS smart array controller with external port.
