I added P440r Raid Controller on HP ProLiant DL380 Gen9. After that the fan started going on a full speed with lots of noice. I also loaded esxi 7.0U 3 on a storage dome in port 4. Any solution concerning the fan?

SolutionAre you able to login to the iLO? If so, navigate to "System Information -> Temperature Information" and check the temperatures, particularly for the "HD Controller" and "HD Cntlr Zone" sensors.
Also, if you are using third-party disk drives, this can cause the fans to run at full speed because the iLO is not able to properly read the drive temperatures and so it will spin up the fans for server "self-preservation".
P.s. I presume you mean "P440ar" for the RAID controller?
P.p.s. This post probably belongs in the "ProLiant Servers (ML,DL,SL)" forum...
