Install/Upgrade IT Product without reboot update iomax values for hba cards
Hi,
Can some one help me on this.
1. io max read must be 256kb
2. io max write must be 256kb
Value can be updated (tunned) but because it’s Driver registry update.
How to and where to change the io max read & write values for Emulex HBA card?
Thanks,
Amaresh

Re: Install/Upgrade IT Product without reboot update iomax values for hba cards
Hi Sunitha,
Below are the products we are using in our environment. Please help us to solve the issue.
I am looking for the windows CMD commands which is used to know the current IO Read & Write values on the server.
Apart from this looking for the solution to change the values in the registry level or HBA card level.
Please help me on this.
Server Model Emulex Model Hp DL380 Gen9 Emulex AJ762B / AH402A
Broadcom BCM57810 NetXtreme 10 GigE Iscsi Hp BL460c Gen9 HP FlexFabric 20Gb 2-port 650FLB Adapter Hp DL380 Gen9 Broadcom BCM57810 NetXtreame II 10 GigE Iscsi

hba cards: emulex/qlogic

Re: Install/Upgrade IT Product without reboot update iomax values for hba cards
Hi,
We may have very limited info on the custom configuration that you are looking for.
Have you tried exploring KB & FAQ on Broadcom portal? Here is an example.
Here is a document, check these commands, try them at your own risk.
ExtTransferSize
MaxIODepth
Thank You!
